Can you make a child smile?

Leave them with Piles of Smiles now!

1.  Appeal to their tummy:) Make their favorite breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Better yet...homemade cookies when they get home from school.

2. Write a cute note for their lunch box. I like to include a joke they can tell their friends.

3. Tell them the story of when they were born. Kids love to know what made their birth special.

4. Two words- DANCE PARTY!

5. Give them bubbles in their bath.

6. Make plans to get face painted at Black Bear Diner on Thursday Nights for Kids Night!

7. Read 2 (or even 3) books before bed, instead of one.

8. Let them stay up 30 minutes later tonight. But not extra screen time...30 min of time with you:)

9. Make a fort in the living room and let them sleep in it. We call ours Mega Fort and it takes up two rooms!

10. Make a special trip to The Dollar Store just so they can pick out a new toy. We like to pick up something extra to give a friend or elderly neighbor too.

11. Tell them you will hire Piles of Smiles Idaho for their next birthday:)

12. Play a board game with them.

13. Let them play in the sprinkler (or rain). In the winter,...make snow angels with them

14. Tell them they get to make dinner for you. Lay out the ingredients and record it like a cooking show.

15. Surprise them at their school for lunch. For older kids...show up with a bag of taco bell to drop off or Jimmie Johns :)

17. Let them fall asleep in your bed.

18. Pick them up from school dressed in your Halloween costume.

19. Fix their hair in a crazy way.

20. Give them a hug and say, “I love you.” Don't forget to tell them you like them too:)
